Are you sick of having to decline calls from unknown numbers on a daily basis? Wouldn’t it be so much better to block a number so you’ll never need to hear from them again? You’re absolutely right it would! To rid yourself of the hassle of telemarketers and irritating callers, we’ve compiled a simple guide to blocking numbers on your specific Android phone.
Samsung Phones
You have an Auto-Reject list that you can access by first tapping the Phone icon on your home screen. After opening the list, select the number you want to block. When the details appear on the screen, click the “More” option, which should appear on the top right hand corner. An option to Add to Auto-Reject List should appear, and by tapping that, the desired number should be added to the blocked list.
LG Phones
Just like with Samsung model phones, you can create a Call Reject list on your LG Android phone. First, tap the phone icon on the home screen. Next, tap the three dots that appear in the right hand corner. A menu should pop up which should entail a call settings option, which you should click. Afterwords, click “call reject” and then “reject calls from”. By tapping the plus icon, you can add any contact,or number from call logs or manual entry that you wish to avoid.
HTC Phones
On the Home Screen, tap the phone icon, and then swiping from the right you’ll see a call history appear. Hold down the number of which you wish to block for a long time and another menu should appear. Click on the option named ‘Block contact’ and then tap OK.
Hopefully after following these simple steps, you will not be receiving any more repeated unwelcome calls.
