These Are The Best New Android Phones By Nokia
It’s probably been a while since you last heard about a Nokia phone. Nonetheless, the company hasn’t disappeared: they’re releasing new phones this year.
Years ago, before the reign of the smartphone, Nokia was a prominent cell phone company. Almost everyone had a bulky, seemingly indestructible Nokia phone. It could do more than make a call, too: you could play games and send text messages. As the smartphone — and all of the features that it offered — became popular, Nokia dramatically dropped in demand. So much so that Microsoft purchased the company for a little over $7 billion in 2014.
Despite Nokia’s declining success, they still have one of the most recognizable cell phone brand names of all time. Now that the company has been rebranded, they are going to use that to their advantage by releasing new smartphones. Although Nokia will no longer make their own phones, these phones will still resemble traditional Nokia phones in design.

What Will the New Nokia Phones Be Like?
There have been rumors that between four and seven new Nokia phones will be released this year, all in varying price-ranges. The Nokia phones will run the Android operating system, and will focus on certain aspects more than others. No matter the price point, Nokia has pledged that all of the phones will be well-designed and feature Google Assistant. Nokia also wants to emphasize their concern for security. They plan to release updates as soon as they’ve available, in addition to monthly software and security updates.
Here Are the Nokia Phones to Look Out For
The Nokia 6 was the first Nokia smartphone to be released. It features a 5.5-inch HD display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera, and an 8 megapixel front-facing camera. It also has the latest version of Android. It’s currently available outside of the U.S., but should be available in the U.S. later this year. The best part: it’s one of the most affordable Android phones on the market. It should retail for about $240-$300.
The Nokia 5 is expected to be a more affordable version of the Nokia 6, at around $200. It will have a 5.2-inch display with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Then there’s the Nokia 3, which is Nokia’s most affordable smartphone. It should be about $150 and offer a 5-inch HD display with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage — similar to the Nokia 5 but with a less-impressive processor. Both the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 will be available in a variety of colors. If you’re interested in a Nokia throwback option, there’s that too — the Nokia 3310 will be a colorful and sleek basic cell phone for talk, text, photos, and minimal Internet usage.
